I make two different types of works. The first one is about escaping from reality. To work with this concept, I often use light as a metaphor of stability and detachedness from life. I have a fascination with night view of a city, sound/rhythm and space. By usingthese elements, I aim to create a space where one can get immersed into, that leads to the state of being numbness and eventually being away from one's ordinary. The second type of work depicts my reality itself ; instead of escaping, I face with it, which is sometimes not so pleasant to look; I try to capture the moment, memory and pain.
